Coyote Hunt
A wild-west physics sandbox
Lasso outlaws, ragdoll wildlife, and stalk objectives across an open desert. Active ragdoll on every NPC, real IK, weather that gets in the way of your aim, and AI guards that actually patrol. The game I am building, and the reason every XeSoft asset exists.
No release date. No wishlist page yet. Just a game in progress, by one person.
The verbs.
Physics that hits back
Every NPC runs active ragdoll. Yank an outlaw off a horse and he tumbles right. Get clipped by a falling rock and you tumble with him. Nothing is on rails; the world reacts to itself.
Wildlife as tools
Coyotes scatter when scared. Vultures circle bodies. Snakes spook horses. The desert is a sandbox of verbs you can weaponize, not ambient set dressing.
Stealth you can actually do
Hide in tall grass, throw a rock to bait a guard, slip behind him for a takedown, hide the body. The same Argus brain that ships in the catalog runs every outlaw camp.
Every XeSoft asset started here.
I do not extract assets out of this game so I can sell them. I extract them so the next game can keep them, and because once a system has survived a real project I would rather someone else ship faster on it than rebuild it from scratch.
Argus
The stealth-AI brain driving every outlaw camp. Guards see, hear, smell, find evidence, radio the squad, fight back.
